I need some unique but not weird baby name suggestions. I kinda like long names. I've looked at baby name sites and haven't found anything I like. We don't know if it's a boy or girl.

Jesalyn (with an "s" sound, not a "z" sound) or Jessalyn
Aralicia (pretty unique since I think I just made it up)
Antoinette (you don't hear that anymore and it's long, LOL)
Kerisah (kinda like Carissa but I like the Ker sound better)
Dinelle (went to school w/ a girl named Dinelle and I've never known anyone else w/ that name)
Laramie (this is one of those names that I think is neat but would never ever use)
Evelyn
Evalisa
Analisa or Aneliese
Bethany
Tralene (dh and I worked w/ a girl w/ this name and never heard of anyone else w/ it. It's pronounced tray-LEEN)
Carabeth
Trishelle (knew a woman w/ this name)

BTW, these are just from the top of my head. Trying to think of unique names. Everyone's idea of "weird" is different. The only name I love from this list is #1. It's special to me.

I'm partial to Veronika...we call her Nika (nee-kah) though she sometimes goes by Nikki

What we've done is to keep a baby name book in the reading room (bathroom) with a notepad so when were in there reading we'd write down names that caught our fancy Worked for two of our three (the other one came from a record album).

What names do you consider weird? You want unusual so what do you consider unusual? I love coming up with names.

Well, I just heard a new one this morning. The police officer working with me in the ER told me about a gal who got picked up here in town. Her name was Female (pronounced fem-AHL-lee.)

Gen, you can suggest anything. Weird is like Apple or Moonbeam. I don't want a name that is common or popular now like Emily, Sarah, Jacob, Nathan.
