Penn Foster?

Postby Angie357 » Tue Feb 15, 2011 6:42 am

Hello,

Has anyone had any experience with Penn Foster distance learning? Is it really accredited? How are the courses?

TIA Angie

Since Penn Foster deals more with college (right?), there may not be a whole lot of experience to draw from here.

Try Googling "Penn Foster" review. I did, and it appears that people's experiences vary widely, to say the least.

Hi I'm Tamie. Welcome to the Homeschool Swap!
Here are a couple of things you might want to know while surfing our site:

We have multiple forums. The Introductions Forum lets us get to know you better and quicker than putting your posts together in our heads. So far we know that you have an interest in Penn Foster. The Introduction Forum is a place that you can give a few more details that might not show up in general forum.

The Swappie Sandbox has multiple forums that are from simple chit chat to kitchen thoughts & more like Health & Finance. Of course being a HOMESCHOOL FORUM, we have a few forums to post about Homeschoolilng. Then, when you feel led to go to our Father in Heaven, we have a place to share, ask prayer and more. Check out our In His Footsteps forums.

I love to use our GOOGLE SEARCH option. Type in a subject, member's name or key word that you’d like to know more about, then hit enter.

Kel is our Swap 'mother'. We also have multiple Moderators that help her keep this group running smoothly.

If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to post. We love to answer questions about education, family issues, home - anything. As I said, we have multiple forums.

It's nice to see you here. Sorry that I missed you earlier. It will be great to see you post again and again!

Hello,
Thank you for the responses. I am a home school mom. I've graduated two of my daughters and am working on the third. I have read the forums for quite some time now. I have received a lot of beneficial information here. Our family moves every 2-4 years due to military transfers. My oldest daughter has followed her dad's footsteps and enlisted into the Coast Guard. My middle daughter is still at home and has a job and is an artist. My youngest has 3 years left of high school and wants to go into the culinary arts. That about sums up who we are.
Thank you for the welcome! Angie
