What to read next? BIBLE

I am taking a different approach to reading the Bible lately. Something others probably do more naturally but I have had to concentrate to make my understanding more specific. I've been making sure that I understand the reading before moving on. I might read the same chapter 5 or 6 times before moving on...

Okay, so I have read Matthew, Mark, Luke and Acts. I've not read more because I just am wondering what I want to read next. Perhaps I'd like to read Paul's writings in chronological order.... not sure.

Do you have opinions?

I was coming on to ask if you'd want to read book in the OT. I really love the OT. In addition to Jean's suggestions, how about Isaiah? Deuteronomy is also a good one if you want kind of a recap of the first four chapters.

I went ahead and started St John again. I've read it quite a few times this past year but went there. I'll keep these suggestion in mind for after John.
