We were going to get the van's emissions checked and I started to turn in (left, across the traffic lane) and then saw a motorcycle coming very fast at us. I stopped, but I guess it startled him and he lost control. He was VERY far up the road. (80-100 yards?) All my kids and I could do was sit and watch him. He fishtailed a couple times and then went down. He ended up right by my driver's side door with the motorcycle going a few more car lengths. He seemed to be okay. The emissions people called police and ambulance and they took him in, though he was walking, with only a few scrapes on his face. NOT wearing a helmet.
Now we are worried (our word against his) that he will say that I cut in front of him. I startled him and I feel bad about that, but I was completely stopped and watching the whole thing from MY lane (possibly the tiniest bit of my bumper across the line - POSSIBLY). sigh
Prayers that he IS okay AND that he tells the truth.
