finding the swap?

Postby sandy » Sat May 07, 2011 7:21 am

So my computer broke last week. I have to use my ds puter until mine is fixed. The first few days I could just put "the swap" in the yahoo search and the 2nd and 3rd results would be our swap. The 2nd would take me to the old swap and I would have to click to go to the new one. The 3rd result had choices and I could click forums and get to our current swap forums. Now when I search "the swap" ours doesn't come up. I looked through 2 pages of search results. I went back and put "the swap homeschool", we didn't come up. Then I tried "the swap curriculum" and found us. I'm not complaining and don't need help, cuz I did get here, I just wanted Kel and the crew to know about this possible issue.

Thanks, Sandy. That's a good thing to know. We'll have to work on that!

If you are talking about doing a Google search, the problem is that our Home page, with all of its Google juice, is missing. I have been working on editing the old HTML for that page. I expect to get it put back up on Sunday. It won't look 100% the same, but it'll do.

If you are talking about your own computer "guessing" where you want to go, based on the first few letters you type in your address bar, the problem us that everything was cleared in the process of your computer being repaired. Once you have accessed The Swap a few times, that function should return for you.

Thanks, Sandy.
