HOW TO INCLUDE AN AVATAR IN YOUR PROFILE

I'm trying out the option to upload documents, and I'm starting with Avatar Instructions. Not sure how it will work, but I'll keep trying until I get it right. Hopefully you will be able to click on the link and amazing things will happen I'm thinking there may be a problem with the path.

It made me save it before I could open it, but when I opened it, it looked wonderful.

Where, oh where, is that little clickable box? I'll go look, but I don't have a lot of hope of finding it, since you haven't been able to.

I found ALL the little clickable boxes, but I must have missed something. I want it to open when it's clicked on, and I think the problem may be either with the path or my "approved" IP address. I even tried classifying the PDF as a downloadable file, but that didn't do it, so I changed it back. I'll leave it up for now, just in case anyone else has any ideas. I'm thinking Cherie probably knows off the top of her head how to fix it.

Techno-dufus that I am, I can't figure out how to put a pic up.

And, since we've established that I'm a techno-dufus, I can't even open up the instructions on how to put a pic up.

I've got the pic on my desktop. I click browse, find the pic, and click submit, but to no avail. If I put in 100 x 100 for the size, after a long wait I'm told it has to be between 0 and 58. So I put 50 x 50, and it immediately says I'm updated, but I'm not; there's still no pic.

And in all my doing's, I even managed to delete the pretty little swappie sign you so kindly had for us.

Did I mention I'm a techno-dufus?

edit: and SINCE I'm such a techno-dufus, especially tonight I think, I even managed to hit save instead of submit. Fortunately, I managed to find it this time.

another edit: I even went to tinypic and uploaded there, then tried to put the pic here with no success. AAAACK!

really, tinypic didn't work????? 'Cause that was going to be my suggestion. I'm pretty much a techno-doofus too, and it literally took me four minutes to put up my avatar, and 3 1/2 was waiting for the pic to upload TO tinypic......

Jeri, I'm feeling a bit better. I still don't have a pic, but worknmom is helping me and it's still not working, so it's not just me. Well, maybe it is, but I feel better anyway.
