Today I feel SLOW.

Postby TamieJP » Wed Jul 25, 2012 10:27 am

I checked my blood sugar. It was time to eat so 82 is not too low. I ate a high protein breakfast...

I did NOT sleep well & woke up a number of times with a severe head-ache. It was so bad that I took a pain med left over from my shoulder surgery.

I think I'll take a nap. I hope it does not mess up my sleep tonight.

We're all feeling slow in this house, but it's the heat - it only got down to 88 in the house last night. (I actually dozed off at Matt's art class today - cool air and not much sleep last night)

Cooler air is coming tomorrow!!! yay.

No nap. Just as I went to bed the phone rang. Snoopy had run off AGAIN and had to be bailed out of the Animal Shelter $20. Sure glad he has the chip. It's brought him home twice now.

You're keeping him, then? I was thinking you were maybe going to give him away. Did I get it wrong?

I tried to give him away but I was surprised that there was no one (that I came across) that wanted a trained Service Dog. And, Mark promised to not harm Snoopy and he has kept his word so I am keeping him.

Mark has discovered since the family that moved in with 4 more dogs, that Snoopy is a well behaved dog. He still has an animosity toward him though. If one of the other dogs does anything that Snoopy might, he smiles at it or even calls the dog up to his lap. Snoopy is always pushed away and told to 'shut-up' if he's the first one heard barking at outside noises. If the other dogs are first to bark, Mark says, "Who's outside?" in a sweet tone.
