I'm going to poke around on the Web to see if others have used cumin with ham flavor. There's not much ham at all but a strong ham flavor because I cooked the beans with a huge ham bone.

Well, it seems that cumin and ham are used together.
I think it will be a safe dish... safe as in not taste bad.
