big doings tomorrow

Hannah takes her hazardous materials test for firefighter I tomorrow and Tim is at a HUGE swim meet in Denver. He's swimming the 50 Fr and the 100 Br. The school had to fire the coach this week, so all is at sixes and sevens. We don't know yet how or if the boys will be able to finish the season. Prayer would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, I supposed to go, but just wasn't up to it. Plus, this way dh could take Hannah to her test (4 hours away). The neighbor is going to help feed with Clara in the morning. I have to return to class on Monday, which means I have to take the test I skipped today. I've been out of class for a week and basically only out of bed since yesterday. Still running a fever. Sarah played a Brandeberg concerto tonight at a venue in Harrisonburg--wish I could have been there!

She thinks she passed and Tim placed 8th in both events! (well, tied for 7th, but the other boy's prelim time was faster). So, a good day! Hannah's home and Tim will make it tonight. Thanks for the prayers!

Tim got home shortly after midnight. I asked him how the drive was and he said that he slept most of the way--not surprising as he'd been swimming since 6:30 am!

Oh no! One he can't drive another teen for a few more months and two, they can't drive home from a meet. CHSAA rules for just that reason--too tired.

Well, not great news--I studied the wrong things for my test--I studied all the HARD stuff and messed up the easy stuff. Grrr... So, I doubt I can pull a B out of this class, which is terribly embarrassing.I couldn't get my table to work and my computer crashed twice. But, I'm done with that exam. I have a pile of homework due on Friday and then the final (non-cume) on Monday and I'm DONE!

And Hannah didn't pass her hazmat state test--missed it by one point. So, now she has to resit for the hazmat test, retake all the FFI tests and all the practicals. Lots of money and lots of time wasted.
