This may be the first of many.

I would like to give Ds a credit for working on vehicle, doing maintenance etc but I'm not sure what to call it. Auto Technology? Auto Maintenance? He has done everything from changing oil to replacing brake pads to welding. (cutting metal parts off, sanding, bondo etc) He actually partially restored an old vehicle and sold it. So I feel like he has earned the credit.

He will be going to community college into the Electrical program if all goes as planned. He wants to do something hands on, he wants nothing to do with academics. This is the child that from first grade until his sophomore year ask every single day if we had to do school. (I'm truly NOT exaggerating!)

Donna--this might help you figure out how to name/classify some of his coursework: http://www.narhs.org/node/49

I have had several kids who had no desire to do schoolwork, ever. In fact, only Marisa was compliant enough to do it willingly.

I'd look at if it would fit more under atuo maintenance or auto restoration.

One thing that helped me with my kids transcripts (besides the swap) was to go online and find the graduation requirements for my local highschool. I tried to stay as close to that as possible so when my kids went to college there wouldn't be any questions. It really helped to simplify things.
