Need help with my printer!

Postby vicki » Thu Dec 22, 2011 12:03 pm

It's an HP all-in-one. It will scan and print/copy, but when I try to print from the computer it makes a ton of mechanical noises and then a light comes on that says paper jam. There is no paper in it, and if I just scan/copy something, it works fine.

I've checked the printer cables, unplugged it, uninstalled it, reinstalled it--etc. etc.

Weird.

I honestly have no idea why your printer isn't working. Let me look around and see what I can find.

I gave up. I bought another one for a good price. I have no clue what is wrong with it, and no one else does either. Thanks for trying.

I thought you fixed your printer? Did I dream that? Weird!

Nope, you didn't dream it. I fixed it for a few hours and then it decided it was done. I thought I posted an update.
