Kindle and bible

Postby Sherri » Sun Mar 13, 2011 7:38 am

I purchased a NASB-Kindle Edition for my new Kindle, but I can't figure out how to look up verses. I have to resort to Table of Contents, then going 'chapter by chapter because when I do 'Search this book' and enter an 'address' it tells me it can't find it...help!

I got the Kindle (as a gift) because I've lost my right eye-sight and the Kindle helps me keep reading...

I have no help because I've never even held a kindle, but congratulations on getting one! I like the NASB.

I understand not all of the Bible versions are indexed correctly for the Kindle, making it harder to navigate the scriptures...I dont' actually have one, I've just "listened in" on various discussions about them on line. I understand the free ESV is a good choice, though.

I began thinking that was the problem. It was my first choice of versions, but it was very inexpensive-$5.65. I guess I'll check around.
