Okay Kodie is using Sing Spell Read and Write.

Now many of the workbook pages do not have an answer key...after all how hard can it be to make sure it is done correctly....but one page has me stumped...
IMO I think there is a misprint.

It is a cut and paste activity of Phonetic Analysis..
Raceway step 4 page 14
She has to finish 3 letter words, by pasting the last letter on..

Her 6 letters to paste are m, t, p, n, ll, s

Her beginning blends are
ja
ha
ma
li
hi
ga

Okay....
so try it and see if you come up with the same issue we are having...

ja-m
ha-t
ma-p
hi-ll
ga-s

That leaves li
the only letter left to paste is n
LIN is not a word.
