We're using Daily Grams and Writing Strands #3 this year.

Any workbook-type recommendations for next year?

If they're working well, why not continue? Another fun one--Editor in Chief--we have it on the computer.

Oh, I've got money from the charter school that I need to spend by March or I lose it.  I get to keep all consumable supplies, but have to return non-consumable items.  I want to buy stuff I can keep to use later.


Daily Grams is working really well.  She usually asks if she can do more than one page instead of pouting about having to do it at all!
She did well with Writing Strands 2 and we'll tackle WS3 next semester.  I decided to go ahead and get WS4-7, because they work for us.

Yes, lots of practice.

Something else to think about--some of the other Critical Thinking Press stuff--most of it still has workbooks available.

I thought Editor in Chief was fun--you look for and mark the mistakes you find.  We had it in a consumable softcover booklet.

Look at the Building Thinking Skills series from CTP, especially!

We just started using CLE Language Arts. I really like it so far!

That's what we use, too, Kim. Really love it! I don't think ME's school would pay for it, though, since it is Christian.
