coat the swiss steak in seasoned flour
fry in oil to brown both sides
I added about 2 cups of water and some worshteshire (no measurement, but a good bit)
let simmer for about 1 1/2 hours, adding water if neededThings got kind of crazy, so I just made some rice and beans and that was the meal.
I've never had this with rice, but I really liked it, especially with the beans, I just kind of mixed in all together on my plate and it had a great flavor with the "gravy" on the rice!!
