
LisaJane's Chocolate/PB Brownies

Brownie Layer: 4 1-oz squares unsweetened chocolate
3/4 cup margarine or butter
2 cups granulated sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup chopped peanuts (I never add this for my son's sake)Peanut Butter Layer:
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
1 tsp. vanillaGlaze:
4 oz semisweet chocolate chips
(or 4 1-oz squares SEMI-SWEET chocolate)
1/4 cup margarine or butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Heat chocolate and margerine together until thoroughly melted (stove top or micro). Stir in sugar then mix in beaten eggs and vanilla until well blended. Stir in flour and nuts. Spread evenly into a greased 9" x 13" pan. Bake for about 30 minutes (oven times vary). DON'T OVERBAKE! Bake until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out with fudgy crumbs. Cool in pan.Meanwhile, combine the PB layer ingredients and blend until smooth. Spread over cooled brownies
Melt together glaze layer ingredients and pour over pb layer. Let set.
