Virtual Sefer Carol's Oatmeal Chocolate Chip

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
3 C. oatmeal
1 1/2 C. flour, sifted
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Mix.
Add:
1 C. white sugar
3/4 C. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 T. water
1 C. shortening
Mix well.
Add:
2 C. chocolate chips
1 C. chopped nuts, optional

Mix.
Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cooking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven.
