Virtual Sefer Lorac's Better Butter

I put equal amounts of butter and canola oil in the blender and blend until smooth.
I usually make several batches at once. I don't like to clean the blender after making Better Butter. I usually blend 2 cups of softened butter and 2 cups of canola oil at a time. I pour (the mixture is soupy)the Better butter into two tubs. Pop one in the refrigerator and the other in the freezer. (and all the other batches go in the freezer for later use.) I use this for everything except for baking and popcorn.
It has a very low melting point and spreads easily. It works great on toast, but it looks funny at first.
