We eat a LOT of popcorn...almost every night. We can use a 50lb bag up quickly.
Our favorite is to barely cover the bottom of the pot (I use my Farberware 6qt millenium, but it is only for popcorn because it ruins the pot) with oil, then cover the bottom with popcorn. After it is dumped in a HUMONGOUS bowl, sprinkle popcorn salt (we make our own in the vitamix lightly and shake, then sprinkle parmesan cheese on the top and don't shake (it falls easily enough).
