I was cutting pototoes into wedges and tossing them in oil, then sprinkling them with seasoning salt before baking for 45-60 minutes. We liked them, but...
LATELY, I tried just scrubbing, then drying the potatos, NOT cutting, then coating with oil (I used olive oil) and sprinkling with seasoning salt to coat. Bake at 350 degrees for 90 minutes (longer if you like crispy peels). You don't even need butter or gravy. Dh thinks these are the best baked potatoes he's ever had. The children like holding them in a towel and just eating without mashing or cutting. Mmmmm.
