Pumpkin Pancakes

Yield: 4 Servings

1 c Buttermilk
1/4 c Sugar
2 tb Shortening
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Baking soda
1 Egg; slightly beaten
1 c Flour
3/4 ts Pumpkin pie spice
1/2 c Canned pumpkin; or squash

Combine all ingredients & beat until smooth. Cook on griddle or in skillet
until browned on both sides; turning once.

Serves 4.
