Sugarless Apple Pie
Sugarless Apple Pie (10”pan)
6 medium Delicious apples
2 tsp. margarine (not diet)
6 oz. can frozen apple juice (no sugar
1 1/2 T. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon.
Peel and slice apples. Place apples,
juice, and margarine in a pan. Bring
to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5
minutes with pan covered. Mix
cornstarch in a small amount of water
(usually 3 T.). Add to apples. Simmer
10-12 minutes stirring to prevent
sticking. Stir in cinnamon. Pour
mixture into crust. Put on top crust.
Pierce top of crust to let steam out.
Cook about 45 minutes @ 350 degrees.
