Mama Dear's PEACH COBBLER Boil fresh peaches (3 cups), 3/4 cup sugar, and 1T. butter, set aside while preparing the
crust.
Crust: 3/4 C. flour;
1 tsp. baking powder;
1/2 tsp. salt;
1 C. sugar;
1/2 C. whole milk;
1/4 C. butter.
Combine all dry ingredients, then add milk gradually until batter is smooth. Pour batter
into greased pan. Add fruit, sprinkle with nutmeg, and dot with butter. Bake cobbler at
350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until crust is lightly brown.
