Our family loves this recipe. We have tried quite a few and this one is consistently great. We make pizza every Friday - much cheaper than ordering and just as good! Ingredients
1 1/3 cups water (Or 1 Cup Water and 1/3 Cup Flat Beer for better flavor - I keep an opened beer in the fridge just to make this. We don't even drink it!)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon honey
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons cornmeal
3 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
1 1/2 teaspoons yeastDirections
1. Add ingredients to machine in order.
2. Set to “Dough” mode.
3. Once completed, place on greased pan to rise about 20-30 min, and split in half. (I usually skip this step and it comes out fine. It rises nicely in the machine)
4 If not using right away put in ziplock bags, stack flat to be used as needed.
5 Add light layer of sauce, toppings and bake in a 425 degree oven for about 10 minutes.
6. At this point I open the oven and slide the pizza off the pan and directly on the rack to brown the bottom. I leave it on for about 2 minutes and then slide it back on the pan and pull out, slice, serve, and enjoy!Cristie in PA
