They could be made several days in advance (just make a big batch) and frozen until needed. Nuke the biscuits, and maybe scramble and egg, and you've got a GREAT sausage and egg biscuit. (Mcd's ain't got nuthin on us)
fix the following and freeze the leftovers--before they have a chance to get really cold--and they can be nuked and taste great. I am sorry that I don't have exact amounts.....I just go by the looks....
Preheat oven to 450 degrees
1 lb. (roll) sausage
1 12 oz. pkg. grated cheese
about 2 to 2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
buttermilk--as much as needed to make a fairly wet dough
roll out on flour and use biscuit cutter to cut biscuits. place on greased baking sheet and bake until well browned.![]()
