Brownie Mix
4 cups all-purpose flour
6 cups sugar
3 cups cocoa
4 tsp. baking powder
3 tsp. salt
2 cups shortening
Combine and mix well: flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Blend in shortening. Store in air tight container at room temp. Can
freeze but bring to room temp. before making. Makes 8 batches.
to use:
2 cups mix
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 nuts if desired. I add chocolate chips
Combine all ingredients. Stir until moist. Spread in lightly greased
8" pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 min. or until set in the middle.
Double to use recipe for 9 X 13 pan.
