Corn Syrup Sub.
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup water
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
pinch of salt
Mix together. Bring to a boil reduce to a simmer and cover for 3 min.
Uncover and cook on low stir often. Cook to soft ball stage. Cool, do
not stir while cooling. Store at room temp. Keeps for 2 months. Makes
about 2 cups.Chocolate Syrup
1 1/2 cups water
3 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups cocoa
1 Tbl. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbs. corn syrupMix sugar and water. Whisk in other ingredients. Cook until thickens.
Pour into squeeze bottle. store at room temp.DebbieJ
