Sour Cream Pound Cake (Uses a Cake Mix)
2 boxes yellow cake mix
1 C. oil
1 C. sour cream
5 eggs (at room temperature)
Water, as needed
Mix ingredients in order listed above, adding eggs one at a time. Mix well. (If the batter is toooooooo thick, add some water to it.) Pour batter into a greased and floured (I use cooking spray) 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 350 F for one hour or until knife inserted in cake comes out clean.
