Black Forest Pot Roast

3 lb. chuck roast
1 onion, choppped
4 dried shitake mushrooms, cuumbled and rinsed
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. ketchup
1/4 c. red cooking wine
2T. Dijon
1 T. Worcestershire
1/2 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper
1 garlic clove, crushed
Put roast in crockpot. Combine the remaining ingredients. Cook covered on low 8 hrs. Remove and put in microwave oven to keep it warm while gravy cooks. Dissolve 2 T. cornstarch and 3 T. water. Stir in juices in pot and cook on high 15-20 minutes. During last 5 minutes take roast out of warming area and slice. Serve with a smile!
